Had my consultation with a Doula Lo today! Their spirit is light and welcoming. Very excited to start this journey with lo holistic.

Doula Lauryn was like the partner I never had being a single parent in a new country, I got to know her in my 3rd trimester and my goodness it was the best decision I made. How knowledgeable she is and freely shared the information made me less anxious and knew I was in safe hands. At hospital we explored all procedures and she was with me through it all
She was my advocate and consultant in almost everything, when the doctor broke my water without my consent she was so mad at them and clearly stated that it was wrong and the client need to be heard and consulted. Finally they decided to do an emergency cs and I told the hospital they can’t proceed without my Doula present and Doula Lauryn cancelled her appointment to come be with me at the OR till I was taken back to recovery room, she also took some photos that I treasure so much of my baby first moment on earth
She was with me after with home visit as a lactation consultant and every time she visited home I felt renewed/ refreshed again. She is a real gem and a voice to many of us. Can’t appreciate you enough but may you succeed in all you do

I met Lauryn in my third trimester, and from our very first conversation, I knew I was in the right hands. We talked about my first birth experience; what worked, what didn’t, and what I wanted to be different this time. My goal was to give birth without an epidural, and Lauryn helped me explore other pain options while preparing me with breathing and positioning techniques. During labor, she was right by my side through every contraction, speaking powerful words of affirmation that truly carried me through. I only used Nitrous Oxide, and with Lauryn’s suggestion to use hot compresses during the ring of fire, I didn’t tear at all!

She also supported my goal to exclusively breastfeed and encouraged me to collect colostrum toward the end of my pregnancy. That advice made such a difference — my milk came in strong, and I’ve been able to exclusively breastfeed my baby. Lauryn is compassionate, knowledgeable, and so passionate about what she does. My family and I loved working with her, and I can’t wait to have her by my side for future births. 🤍

I was not feeling well two weeks ago, my symptoms felt as though I had a sinus infection and or the flu. I went to urgent care and was informed that there was no infection they gave me flu and Covid test both negative. I was very fatigued. Once I got home I had a large mug of Lo Holistic Respiratory Support Tea and slept well that night and two days later I felt near well..Thanks Lo for your Rootwork Herbal Care..

I recently received her lung/sinus tea and it was absolutely incredible and helped so much with detoxing!! I can’t recommend anything more!!

I absolutely loved having Lo as a doula! Both times she was great, very attentive, always there with answers for any questions and very caring, during my postpartum period she came over a few times and made sure I was doing well & also checked on baby, if anyone I know ever need a doula I will for sure recommend Lo 10/10

There was comfort from first encounter! Lauryn exudes positive and calming energy, which was incredible to have in a doula. I appreciate the support offered to me and my partner as we welcomed our daughter into the world. Lauryn encouraged and supported the current communication style that our family has. She helped guide us through our birth diverging from the plan and stayed with us for 2 very long days. I'll be using her services again for the next baby we welcome into the world ❤️
